We believe all Scripture is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16). It
is the source of all authority for our beliefs and the standard by
which we live.
We believe prayer is an expression of our relationship to God. Therefore, it is crucial for sustaining our dependence upon Him
and our empowerment by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that by obedience to God's Word and daily yielding to
the Holy Spirit, every believer should mature and be conformed
to the image of Christ.
We believe the Church is composed of all who trust in the life,
death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the means for obtaining forgiveness of their sins and eternal life with God. As members of
the Church, with Jesus as the Head, it is our responsibility to keep the unity of the Spirit, supporting the local church and loving one another with pure hearts.
We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He
eternally exists in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead on the third day to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to the right hand of God the Father where He intercedes for believers.
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer. The ministry
of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to make men aware of sin, to regenerate the believing sinner and guide, to instruct, and to empower the believer for godly living and service. We believe all Christians should witness for Christ in His power and study the Bible with His help.
